Frequently asked questions
How are rows in my file matched to rows in the sheet?
By a unique ID column that exists in both. You pick the column, and each file row updates the sheet row with the same ID — row order does not matter.
Will it change my sheet before I confirm?
No. Every run starts as a preview showing which rows and cells would change, and only the cells that differ from your file are written once you approve.
What happens to blank values and rows that are not in the sheet?
By default, blank values in the file leave existing cells untouched and rows whose ID is not in the sheet are skipped. Both are optional toggles: blanks can clear cells, and unmatched rows can be appended as new rows.
Is there a usage limit?
Previews and dry runs are unlimited and never count. Applying changes (a real write) is capped at 3 bulk runs per account per day while the tool is free, and a single run can span up to 5 sheets. The counter resets daily.
